  • I was at work in lower Manhattan when we heard that a single engine plane had hit the WTC. We went up to the 12th floor snack bar to see if we could see anything being only 10 or 12 blocks away. As we stood there , we watched the second plane come around the tower and slam into the building.

  • I can empathize with you (I am 51) and you are right about finding "the" job. But I still stick with working at it like a real job to find the opportunities. Perhaps I am too idealistic about it... I wish good fortune to all who are looking for work.

  • While the basic advice hasn't changed, the tactics have. I understand the frustration of looking for a job and not finding anything, but I also know that most people do not approach it like a job in itself.
